How it all began
We met in 2015 and got to know each other over many peanut M&M study breaks in Washington Square Park. We went on lots of early dates, but could never agree which were winners and which were losers. One of Sophia’s favorites was at Brooklyn Bowl (it was the moment she knew this was special), but Nick thought it was terrible and didn’t text her the next day. Nick’s “Brooklyn Bowl” was a dinner at Westville that he thought was a big success, but Sophia nearly called the whole thing off afterward.
Fortunately, we eventually got on the same page, and—countless nicknames, inside jokes and shared bottles of wine at Lavagna later—fell in love.
Of all the sweet memories since, including moving into our first apartment together and hosting our families for Thanksgiving, the sweetest of all was on June 16, 2019 when Nick proposed at home and caught Sophia completely off guard.
We can’t imagine making our vows without you and we hope you can join us for our wedding weekend in Key Largo!
